September 1946

March 1954 Vol. 71, No.5

April 1958 Vol. 75, No.4
This is simply incredible. The ground breaking Arts & Architecture magazine will be collected and republished as a book this fall by Taschen. Spanning 20+ years from 1945 to 1967, the magazine is notably known for their Case Study House program coverage. A site has been developed in conjunction with the launch archiving many of the issues with downloadable pdfs. If architecture doesn't interest you, take a look at the covers, they're simply beautiful.

Though the site doesn't mention it, ANP Quarterly issue 9 is out featuring an interview with Harmony Korine. Aaron Rose and Ari Marcopolous reports on what is suppose to be a "real story behind his landmark career in confrontation." Should be interesting.

Sample page from Fireworks by Mike Mills
The always artistic publishing house, Nieves, releases Mike Mills's latest zine, Fireworks. Filled with 20 pages of abstract illustrations, the fireworks are drawn in colorful streams and blobs. Mills found relief in these illustrations during his time of depression. He compares them to placebo pills some would take if they were depressed with similar effects as actual pills.
