Rumors are spreading all over the net over the state of Wild Things. Warner Brothers may not release Jonze's version due to early screening results and the belief that the film isn't commercial enough. The entire movie may have to be re-shot without Jonze. NY Mag, Dark Horizons, Chud.

Though there's going to be some time before we see the light of day for Where the Wild Things Are, 2009, some hints of what the film will look like are beginning to show. Most recently a clip surfaced over the weekend. The origins of the clip can't be confirmed, though Ain't It Cool News seem to think it's an unfinished cut from the studio.
Update: Well that didn't last too long. The clip has been pulled from all the sources, Dailymotion, Youtube, and Ain't It Cool.

Judging from the trailer, Mister Lonely may be the most accessible film by Harmony Korine. At its fundamental, the film is an offbeat love story between a Michael Jackson and Marilyn Monroe impersonator. Mister Lonely premiered at Cannes last year and is scheduled for a limited release this April.

Beautiful Losers the documentary, has screened several times in festivals and art openings in the East and West Coast. Here's another chance to catch it before the general release this spring. It's been a long time since we've heard from Charlie Kaufman, four years since Eternal Sunshine, so it's no wonder that IMDBers are salivating over his new project, expected to be released this year. According to IMDB Synecdoche, New York is about "a theater director (Hoffman) struggling with his work, and the women in his life, as he attempts to create a life-size replica of New York inside a warehouse as part of his new play."
